Anyone here of Government buying foreclosures and making them Section 8?

Do not know if this is the country wide, but I know here in S Fla., it created a huge problem. Anyone Hear the government to buy these foreclosure and make it Section 8? Just wondering if this is the country or simply our Etat.Excusez me, I mistyped the subject line. I wanted to hear from

    kemperk very true, the government does not redeem the homes section 8. They only regulate and subsidize. It is up to individuals to buy a house and request that it be covered under Article 8. I think you may have heard wrong because Florida is no different than any other state in the case of Article 8.

    I agree that the government is not in the RE business, owners who purchase any of the buildings Apply for Gov. Sec. 8 Approval to ensure that new owners are responsible.
