Question by bob123: If I want to flip houses for a living what should I major in college?
My school currently has architectural and constructional majors is it a good idea that I take some courses in these and major in it if I want to flip houses? HELP thanks.

Those courses could help, but it would be a good idea to actually work in construction for a couple years also.

    dont forget the real estate and business classes. maybe some basic art classes. I agree in working in construction to.

    Get a business degree and major in real estate or the construction degree would be best. Having a good business sense and being able to manage others effectively is important. Real estate knowledge is helpful. Read and learn as much as you can about rehabbing houses, residential construction, real estate transactions, negotiating, and money management.

    If you want to flip houses, you dont need college…. why have the student loans hanging over your head?

    You need business skills, but if you can manage money, there is absolutely no need to waste your money on college…. a general contractors license and appraiser would be helpful…. but thats it. Dont waste your time or money on a 4-year degree.
