Is anyone here still flipping houses with the market so crappy and making a profit?

My husband and I eventually want to start flipping houses in Texas for a living, so do we wait for the market to pick up, we need some advice!! I want to get my realtor license and sell our own homes that we flip..we would like to do it in NJ but could never afford any fixers here..so who here is still flipping and profiting? Thanks

my roommate and i are doing that in Texas. not flipping as quickly as when we started so we are renting while the market is bad and buying up a few foreclosed properties.

seeing as there is still 10 months worth of housing inventory (meaning it takes an avg house 10 months to sell) on the market as opposed to 4 months when the economy and housing market were good – I doubt anyone anywhere is flipping houses successfully unless they are pricing them well under market and making very little money on the sale

Lets see that guy that was doing it on that TV show had to stop because they where not selling so I am sure you as an amateur can do better. You cannot put money into a home and flip it for more than some homes that are selling because they lost that much value.
